Hi Again Everybody.

There is not as much to report on this month!

At our regular meeting on the 10^th May 2010 there were Nineteen Members, Three Visiting Masters and Six Guests and Visitors. 

There was to be no ceremony this evening but once the Lodge was closed, guests were invited into the temple to receive an interesting talk by W. Bro Phil Morgan about Jack the Ripper.  

The Ladies and brethren enjoyed the way W.Bro Phil got the various points across and thanks go to the reluctant volunteer who assisted in the demonstration.  

W.Bro Fewkes said that he had received good news from Bro Paul Frensham.                     The treatment he has had seems to be working and following a scan he appears to be in remission.

W.Bro Roberts reminded the brethren that the lodge Barn Dance is to be held at Manston Village Hall on Saturday 15^th May at 7pm with a Bar-B-Q @ £6 per head, with children under ten going free. Drinks will be available there for a small donation.

Please remember that both the Worshipful Master and the Lodge really need your support at these charity fundraising events as these greatly assist in the helping the lodge meet its charitable commitments for the year.

Here is the “birthday boy” section and this month on behalf of the Past Masters, Officers and Brethren of St Johns Thanet Lodge and on behalf of myself I would like to wish a Very Happy Birthday to W. Bro’s Roberts and Bulkley who celebrate their birthdays on the 16^th and the 18^th of May respectively and Bro Black who has his birthdays on the 22^{nd .}
