To mark the occasion of being installed as Worshipful Master of the lodge back in 2005,  W.Bro. Peter Smith looked for a small gift to give as a token of his appreciation to all brethren of St John's Lodge who attended the ceremony.   

He found a very old black and white print of the square and compass and redesigned it in definition colour and had it produced as a lapel badge that incorporated the lodge number.   For personal guests attending from other lodges he had the same badge produced but with a "G" at its centre.

W. Bro Peter was also asked to design and produce badges for the 25th anniversary of The Mark Province of Bedfordshire, by RW. Provincial Grand Master, also badges for his Body Guard by the Provincial Prior of Kent Knights Templar and a 150th year Commemorative Badge for The Wellington Lodge No 784, in Deal and personalised badges with lodge number incorporated for other lodges.
